About me

Carolin Schiml - state certified translator and interpreter for the English language - translator for the Czech language

Foreign languages have always been my passion, starting with standard German: I grew up with the striking Upper Palatinate dialect as my mother tongue in the nice village of Konnersreuth. While attending the Max-Reger-Gymnasium in Amberg, my enthusiasm for the English language was aroused and, therefore, after my graduation in 2014 I decided to pursue a career in the language industry. I studied at the Academy for Translation and Interpreting in Weiden for three years and successfully took the state examination for translators and interpreters in 2017. With great interest I also studied the Czech language for three years at the academy and continually try to exceed my knowledge and skills because of the proximity to our neighbouring country, the Czech Republic. In November 2017 I was also officially appointed and sworn by the President of Weiden district court which enables me to produce certified translations of official documents and certificates. I am also authorized to interpret in court proceedings.
